I just wanted to remind you of some upcoming events in our Valley.

  1. If you desire to purchase new Lodge shirts, you can contact “Thread Protection” at https://masoniclodge.threadperfection.net/ or call them 757.833.0633.

  2. Starting on July 6, we will start converting the NNSR Masonic Center into our “Walk of Terror” Haunted House. If you are retired and want to do some charitable work, we are always happy to have volunteers to help us build it. Most work will be Monday through Thursday, starting around 9 AM and going till Noon, normally? Any time you can help would be much appreciated.

  3. Starting on July 8th, we will be sponsoring an Educational program (mostly videos about Masonic and Scottish Rite items) at 11 AM. This will be preceded by breakfast starting at 10 AM, with any donation accepted.

  4. Yes, you heard here first, Christmas in July will occur on July 25th in our Social Hall. The proceeds from this Vendor Fair will help the Scottish Rite, so come out and support the vendors who support us.

  5. We are looking for some volunteers to work in the kitchen during the “Christmas in July” event. We will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and other items to the participants of the vendor fair.

  6. Our Fall Reunion will be on September 12th. Please find attached a petition you can copy and give out to your fellow Lodge Brothers, or they can fill it out on our website at: How to Join — Valley of Newport News Scottish Rite
